What is a facelift procedure?

A face and neck lift is the perfect procedure if you are looking to rejuvenate your facial appearance. The procedures can be undertaken separately or combined to create a more youthful appearance. Skin will be tightened and lifted reducing sagging creating a smoother profile around the jaw line. The procedure of facelift

Our experienced surgeons use the latest techniques to ensure that you will achieve the optimal natural result. They will lift the skin through small incisions and create the elevation required. The incisions are discreetly hidden often in the hairline. The procedure itself is done under general anaesthetic, whilst you are asleep, and normally takes around 2-4 hours. Times can vary depending on the procedure performed and whether you are choosing to combine with other procedures.

A neck lift sometimes known as a platysmasplasty is performed through a small incision under the chin and the neck is re-contoured excess fat deposits are removed and lines are reduced.

The type of result you can expect and any risks will be discussed with you by your dedicated surgeon.

Recovery from facelift

You will stay in hospital overnight and go home wearing a support garment to aid the recovery process and prevent infection.

Most patients will be full recovered in 6 weeks and back to their normal routine. There will be some bruising that will be visible for the first 1-2 weeks.

All your aftercare is fully inclusive and follow up appointments will be made to suit you.
